We’ve seen some unusual birthday desserts in Bollywood. From 3-tiered desserts to French fries and burger-looking desserts, B-Town sure does get creative in terms of cakes. But we were given emotional whilst we noticed Karan Johar’s birthday cake. The producer-director celebrated his 47th birthday on May 25. Several Bollywood celebrities took to social media to wish KJo on his birthday. While we were smiling with each birthday post, we were bowled over by the birthday cake. The Dharma Production head took to Instagram to expose his birthday cake.
He was presented with a chocolate cake. It wasn’t the form of the cake or the flavor that caught our interest. It was what became of it. The cake featured posters of hit Dharma Production movies. This includes Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Wake Up Sid, Dostana, Student of the Year, and recently released Kalank. But the highlight of the cake was a picture of Karan Johar with his twins, Yash and Roohi.
The phrase “Happy Birthday” was inscribed on the cake. The cake was offered with many bouquets and birthday balloons. If it were us, we would not have been even to reduce the cake from going away on our own to consume it. Check out the photo below:
Speaking about turning forty-seven, Karan instructed DNA, “There came a point of time when I became very enthusiastic about turning 40. I idea it’d be a new inning in my existence, which in any case it becomes. So many interesting matters have passed by me in my 40s. Like my corporation (Dharma Productions) has grown, my children, Roohi and Yash, have come. It has been a new life with my babies; they have modified my 40s around. I thought there might be the advent of a love story. So I put the message out into the Universe, and it came actually through my children.”
“The love that I was looking for in terms of a relationship, which I in no way had, and the loneliness that I felt, is long gone. The decision to have my kids has modified my 40s round, and it has modified my mother’s 70s round. It has converted the fulcrum of our life. At 47, I even have two emotions—one of excitement that I am heading in the direction of the midpoint of my life. There is so much I have to achieve before I turn 50. And the second is the tension. Sometimes, I sense I even have less and less time with my babies, with whom I even have a pleasant love story taking place,” he added.
