Boise, Idaho-based Albertsons Companies, Inc. It is expanding its Signature Select emblem, adding greater than 300 new products, and updating branding. As a part of the initiative, Albertsons stated it has redesigned products from its Signature Kitchens, Signature Home, refreshed, and The Snack Artist manufacturers to be streamlined into the Signature Select portfolio.
“Our Signature own family of manufacturers isn’t like your dad and mom’s shop manufacturers anymore,” said Geoff White, president of Albertsons Companies Own Brands. “We are laser-focused on innovation and staying at the forefront of culinary trends. Customers need to expect to see trends first at our stores. With the growth of Signature Select, customers will find even more surprises, from seasonal and excursion objects to ethnic and even plant-based offerings.”
The Signature Select portfolio comprises more than 2,400 products. With the updated branding, Albertsons stated the overall layout would allow for flexibility inside the packaging structure in every category, permitting the goods to face in the shop aisle. “With a logo that extends across many diverse classes at some point of our shops, we needed to create a design system with a recognizable emblem presence that also permits for individuality across classes,” said Bill Luna, director of logo layout and packaging operations. “The Signature tag affords an iconic and constant brandmark that sits certainly on specific designs and displays the particular traits of every product in every class.”
Recent product introductions in the Signature Select line include new flavors (cranberry raspberry, strawberry, and black cherry) in its Soleil sparkling water lineup, in addition to new top-rate mixers (Indian tonic water, mild Indian tonic water, and ginger beer). Albertsons released the Signature Save logo in 2016. The organization stated Signature Select is one of its four $1 billion manufacturers. The others are O Organics, Lucerne, and Signature Café.
